Sharing sweet moments with kids... Do you remember doing these things with YOUR mum?

We never really appreciate our mum until we have our own children to deal with, right?

And it’s when our little ones become big ones… that we start to reflect on the things we used to do with our own mum when we were growing up.

From reading a book together to baking tasty brownies, we’ve all shared sweet moments with the main woman in our life that we’ll cherish forever.

So, tell us, how many of these do you remember?

1. Eating melted chocolate out of the bowl following an afternoon of easy baking together

2. Listening to your mum as she recalls adventures of her own childhood while you both snuggle in bed together

3. Putting up the Christmas tree at the start of December because you both love the festive season so much

4. Sharing a giant packet of Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons while watching the Late Late Toy Show together – the only show you both ever agree to turn on

5. Taking a sip of tea out of her thermal flask because you were frozen after a walk up the mountains

6. Asking for her advice when filling in your CAO because you didn’t have a clue what to put down

7. Crying on her shoulder after discovering the boy you liked preferred your best friend (and her recalling the time she ended up going on holiday with her ex because she didn’t want to forgo her deposit)

8. Calling her the minute you got your exam results… and then crying down the phone because you didn’t want to leave home to go to college

9. Watching her standing ovation at your piano recital… as you both sigh in relief that it is over!

10. Calling her the moment you found out that you were expecting a baby

11. And feeling her squeeze your hand as you both silently rejoice in the birth of your baby

And so the cycle continues.

Now excuse us while we go hug our mum for putting up with us for so long…

Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons are little bags of fun shaped milk chocolate. You might even say they're bags of fun. And they have been since 1960 when we first made them. As simple as a giggle.
