Finally! This airline has just made travelling with babies a billion times easier
Flying with little ones can be a taxing experience even for the most savvy of parents.
Between the hurting ears, dry air, and limited to space to move around in, trying to placate a toddler for the entirety of a flight can be exhausting.
One airline, however, is making it easier for families and small children to travel, and all we can say is finally!

Air New Zealand is launching a "Skycouch"- a row of three flat economy seats that turn into a flat bed for parents travelling with children. It has also made a "baby pod", providing extra comfort for the smallest of passengers.

The “Skycouch Cuddle Belt” was originally designed for two adults or one adult and one child travelling together, has been updated to provide for bigger families. They also have a seat belt that works when the baby is lying down. A breath of fresh air compared to trying to control a squirming toddler on your lap.

First launched in 2011, the airline asked customers how best to update the area for families.
“While we initially marketed the Skycouch to couples, we quickly found the product suited parents with young families especially well,” Air New Zealand general manager, Anita Hawthorne, told The HuffPost.
“Parents can relax while their children are able to have their own space and flat area to play without interrupting other passengers.”
That actually sounds like a travelling parents dream come true!
