Teen spends lunch break holding broken stop sign in the heat

Logan Duncan is a seriously selfless human being.

While the temperatures reached sizzling heights last week, he was seen standing at the side of the road holding up a broken Stop sign.

How thoughtful is that?

Randy Jones spotted this as he was driving down the road in Oklahoma City, and stopped to ask him what he was doing.

Logan explained that he had been driving when he noticed that someone had run over the stop sign at the intersection.

He also had witnessed a near car collision due to the sign’s absence.

So, he decided that during his lunch break, he would hold up the sign to make sure people drove safely.

Randy was so moved by the story that he called city workers to ask them to come and fix the sign.

Once it was fixed, Randy took a picture of the 17-year-old standing next to it and uploaded it to Facebook.

He wrote, ''he was standing out in 95° weather with no water and did it for free. Hopefully this gets back to this young man, you did a good job and I’m sure the citizens of the city of Oklahoma city appreciate it as well.''

The response was huge, with comments including, ''good young folks are getting scarce, so I tip my hat to this young man'' and ''I drove past while he was there. There was so much traffic, so many construction trucks, and workers all around. He really stood out!''

The world needs more people like Logan Duncan, who without doubt saved some lives with his kind deed.
